American Call

At last they woke up......... The Americans.... for years President Musharraf had been saying we support America in war on terror, for years America had supported Pakistan with weapons and finance. But now the game is up...........
Former CIA analyst, Bruce Riedel spoke angrily about Pakistan extracting billions of dollars from Washington even while it allowed Al Qaeda to regroup in its tribal lands. 'We had a partner that was double-dealing us,' the International Herald Tribune quoted Riedel as saying at his Washington home. 'Anyone can be snookered and double dealt. But after six years you have to start to figure it out.'
So what has made the Americans wake and take notice....... was it that they never knew these things.. or was it that they never bothered........ For the Americans, the primary target was Al Quaeda, which they effectively dismantled. They never took LeT seriously as it was thought of as a small group which worked in Kashmir and did not pose any threat to the super power. The screams of Indian leaders, shouting on top of the voice, fell on deaf ears. But now when it came to be known that the target of those militants in Mumbai were the Britishers and Americans, the sleeping beauty has woken up.
Within days, Jamat ul Dawa, which is the mask of LeT was banned and numerous appeals and diplomatic pressures have been put on Pakistan to support India in bringing to book the culprits of the Mumbai Carnage.
This just shows that the global war on terror and all the hype around it is just talk. Until and unless, the sword falls on our own head, we never wake up..... Americans have woken up to the truth..... Hope India does as well...... before another Mumbai takes place.........
