Welcome to the market backed world. Everything is on sale here be it; jewelry outlets, fashion shows, advertisements, and now human emotions too. Everything has a price.
Not long ago, an unsung hero died in N.E., followed by many more. The Indian media were at their best concentrating on the very news that shape the country’s present and future. Like, Harbajjan calling names to the Australian counterpart, some mega release, and more.
Major Unnikrishnan’s act earned him a hero’s farewell? The whole world witnessed his cremation. He is one soldier who truly earned the heroes farewell. The whole nation was at his door step to pay their tributes. Media was spot ON and captured every minute detail especially the emotions of his parents. Emotions sell too were you aware?
Meanwhile, an unknown soldier Capt. A.K. Singh was seriously wounded during the Mumbai attacks. Who cares? Well, his fiance does and thus she decided to stand beside him when the whole world walked out. Cliched!!
Why did the Media wake up when the attacks took place in Mumbai? Attacks are for ever in N.E. and J&K. Don’t humans reside there? India does not pay homage to a soldier died in an insurgency operation. Let alone Media, are we a bias nation?
